Volunteers give generously to open minds, open hearts, create joy and exceptional experiences and great memories.
So too, does the team of Coach House volunteers today, yesterday and in years past, who have given and continue to give so generously of their time and talents, sharing their enthusiasm, skills, and passion.
Welcome to Feilding & District Community Archives and our world class museum, home to an outstanding collection of rural New Zealand Heritage showcasing over 140 years of history in the heart of the Manawatū, friendly Feilding.
Every single one of our volunteers has contributed to this massive place where our purpose is to cultivate relationships, grow minds and harvest memories while taking our visitors on a journey from pioneering to prosperity, yesterday, today and tomorrow.
Our magnificent collection has been impressively curated and displayed by volunteer enthusiasts, a dedicated community who are the heart and soul of everything that happens at the Coach House, who also help with the day to day running and admissions, including group and guided tours.
Our place is vast, offering a unique setting to create memorable occasions, with several venue hire and catering options plus other facilities for special public and private events and gatherings, all made possible because of our volunteers
Our volunteers have taught us, that through connecting, we belong. And through generosity and ngākau nui, big heartedness, our communities will be strong, be well, and be vibrant.
